Such a comfortable sock. Think Injinji original weight sock, but softer and more comfortable. After a long, blister free run they don't smell either which is nice. Bought 2 pairs initially, will be purchasing again
Really enjoy the feeling of these, so soft and high quality. We are not hikers or runners, I just bought these for family Christmas stockings. Of three kids with major sensory issues, two ladore them. I have to wrestle them off the feet of the child who has only been able to tolerate the feeling of one particular pair of socks for the past 12 months.
They regulate the temperature of my feet - I have circulation problems, so this is a big deal. I usually wear compression socks and I do find that I get tightness and an indent mid calf, at the top of the sock, with my Creepers. I wish I didn’t have to choose between your socks and compression socks! Knee high compression Creepers would be absolute sock heaven for people on their feet all day! (Or even just knee high Creepers that are slightly looser at the top).
Also - please please more pink ones!!
Blisters. No more. Plus quite a few nice comments on the new seasonal colourway release which I got in quarter crew for summertime.
I wash on a cool wool cycle (front loader) with half the usual wool/delicates liquid. Sun dry on the line. I love them. They are soft and cosy and actually cuddle my toes and feet.
I think blisters (for me they were on the tops of the two little toes both feet probably from the descents) are actually going to become a forgotten hazard of life.
At first when I tried them on a year ago, I was worried that they might be slightly small and would wear through with holes etc. those first four pairs are still in really good nick, no holes, and I only got more because I love them and wanted the new colour quarter crew for summer.
These foot gloves are game-changers. Allowing my toes the freedom to work independently in my workboots rather than being clumped in a foot-mitten (ie traditional sock) has made SUCH a difference. End of day foot fatigue has disappeared. Blisters banished. No more rubbing from toes being wodged in together. Sweaty feet a thing of the past. Also noticed socks not smelly after a 9 hour day. I'm impressed.
I got 10 pair of the white while they were availible… Best toe sock I have ever owned. Not to tight, not to loose. I had a personal emergency and had to wear two days. They didn't get funky or tear up like my others did. Don't smell and easy to clean.
Yes, you. The person who's spent countless hours researching the perfect barefoot shoes, spends ages looking at the reviews and testimonials and blog posts about products to get a fuller picture, and cares deeply about quality and health and aesthetics and also price (and why is it that the 4 never just go hand in hand??).
If you feel spoken to - perhaps attacked - then just scroll up and get these. They are so comfortable and snug in the best hug-like way, and I'm proud to say I have got rid of every single pair of socks I own now except for these seriously cheapo thick ones that I pretend are shoes when I'm too lazy to find my slippers. You know, the ones with the strawberries and cartoons that somehow always end up mismatched. I never thought I could rave about socks but then I found out I've been buying cheapo socks my whole life. I wear these out, at home, for workouts, for dates, for school, for work, and even in bed. And that's saying a lot from someone who can't even wear pants for long because the elastic is sensory overload. I wear them with merino wool or cashmere footless stockings for a snug winter outfit, and have never felt so comfortable in winter before. I also love that I wear them a little too often (ie too many days in a row) because they just. don't. smell. What magic is this?! I guess a little research into materials and getting the right materials for your skin pays off. But you can stop the research now. Just go ahead and buy a few pairs - you will never ever regret it, I promise.
PS I should add: this review is about both the crew and quarter crew. I prefer the quarter crew for its shortness, personally, but am pleasantly surprised by the fact that despite the regular crew's tightness around my leg, they are never ever uncomfortable to me. As someone who struggles with tight sleeves and necks and even jeans, this is highly impressive to me!
I found out about these socks while listening to the Backpacker Radio podcast. I only wear toe socks and prefer wool for hiking, so ordered some. I have ordered lots of pairs for my grandson and me. We hiked 500 miles in them on the Camino Frances and loved them. I wear them all the time:)
My mangy toes are now on the mend with these comfy toe socks , my toes have taken an absolute hammering over the last 38 years working as a landscaper and having to wear heavy steel cap boots…..they seriously make a difference, they felt odd to wear initially but now I wouldn’t wear anything else to work even on brutal hot days they sap up the sweat and keep my toes dry and has also started repairing my callouses on my toes from the wear and tear of the steel caps
These are the warmest socks I've had since going the toe sock route and durable, love them!
I love the hot pink special edition creepers so much I bought another pair and told myself that I would give them to my sister for Christmas, but who am I fooling? I kept them for myself...
Tried and tested on Heaphy track. Absolutely brilliant
Best socks I've ever owned. I stepped in a puddle and didn't even realize my feet were wet until I got home and took off my shoes. It is just above freezing outside.
Sadly my old boots were not up to a 40 km hike through the Abel Tasman track (NZ) for my son’s school camp. Purchasing a second hand pair of boots off TradeMe 5 days out didn’t leave any time to wear them in. Luckily I had my new Creepers socks. On a previous trip blisters had resulted in my feet being covered by half a roll of strapping tape in a desperate bid to keep walking. This time the only blister I started to develop was on the jutting out part behind the little toe of my rather wide left foot.
Thank you Shaun and the crew for helping make the trip pain free even with an 18kg pack on!
My feet are no longer over heating in work boots, heaps better thanks
I have been trying different brands of toe socks for a couple of years as that is all I wear now. It's like wearing gloves instead of mittens! Creepers is one of my top favorites. The fabric is the best and so far they seem to be lasting well.
