from 1333 reviewsMy husband and I bought these to take on the Overland track in Tassie. We hadn't used to socks before, but we're completely converted. The only problem was we didn't have enough pairs! Thankfully they wash well and would definitely recommend.
I don't know why I waited so long to try toe-socks, but I'm VERY glad I decided on Creepers vs other brands on the market. I hike a lot, and even though I wear shoes with a wide toe box, I still get "hot spots" and blisters on my toes during long hikes. Since I received my first 5 pairs of Creepers two weeks ago, I literally have not worn any other socks. These things are amazingly comfortable and each of my tootsies feel like they are being gently hugged. I love the feeling, but the real benefit is they keep all my toes separated so there is no skin-on-skin rubbing. This means, no more hot spots while hiking! I honestly don't think I will ever wear any other socks. The Merino wool blend is awesome because it is soft, wicks away sweat, dries quickly, and it takes quite a long time before it starts to smell. Of course, my Creepers had to pass the sniff test... I wore the first pair for 4 days straight, which included at least two long hikes and working all day on my feet. On day 5, they had a very slight smell, but it really wasn't bad. They certainly didn't "stink". I could have continued wearing them but figured it might be time for the wash. LOL! Lastly, I'll say that Shaun has been awesome responding to emails and answering all my questions. Keep up the great work Shaun -- I'll definitely be buying more Creepers in the future!
I’ve been dealing with a painful pinch blister on my second to last toe on my right foot for several years, significantly impacting my ability to hike which is my favorite thing to do. I’ve tried multiple products and mole skin to no avail. Enter Creepers socks! I was worried that toe socks would drive me crazy, but I don’t even notice they’re on. I walked 8 1/2 miles yesterday with zero issues with my feet, and my pinch blister is almost completely healed! When I forget to wear my Creepers it comes right back. Thank you thank you!! I now get to enter my retirement knowing I can walk and hike to my heart’s content.
Absolutely fantastic! Mud, wet, whatever - my Creepers socks stayed warm, dry & supercomfy! Definitely recommend
Love these socks..so comfortable and love how my feet stay at a lovely temperature. Not hot or cold just cosy and soft..plus I like them as prone to blisters and I don't get any wearing these socks Thank you 🙂
I recently finished an 8-day tramp in Fiordland. My Creepers socks were amazing! I wore them every day, and my boots, socks and feet were constantly wet during the whole tramp. There was not a hot spot, blister, or any discomfort at all. These are incredible socks. I will use them every time I tramp and highly recommend them.
I’m just so stoked and impressed with the quality. I bought these in early 2022 for every day wear, and they suited perfectly for my boots and runners (another brand’s toe socks didn’t fit well). I recently just completed 1100 odd km of the South Island Te Araroa trail wearing the same pairs… not one blister even though my shoes were constantly wet/muddy. They are super comfy, fit my chubby toes, dried quickly and kept me warm. I’m still wearing them every day had to come here to share the love. Would buy againandagain/10. Feet size: 11US, socks: L
I do lots of long distance walking and these socks have been great. I no longer need to use wool between my toes to stop blisters. Highly recommend.
Creepers are awesome socks. My feet feel better at the end of the day and I’m not having to moisturise them daily. Creepers help keep my toes in a more natural position which has really helped with some of my foot issues resulting in a lot less foot pain. I would love it if Creepers did a slightly thicker sock too, they’d be amazing for long days in steel cap boots! The only negative I’ve found is some of the toe bits are too long, but that’s not a Creepers problem, that’s my weird toes 😂
I have been a fan of toe socks for years to keep blisters at bay while running, but Creepers take it to a whole new level! Not only do they prevent toe rub but these socks stay drier than cotton versions and drier = more comfortable! Great quality, too. Would love to see a no-show, lower profile version and maybe more colors to add to my Creepers collection.
Wear these for both running and for 13+ hour days in work boots. After both my feet are comfortable and healthy. 👌
Wore a pair for a half marathon - no blisters at all. My sister-in-law wore them for a marathon - no blisters at all.
I'd had my first 3 pairs for a while and whilst I'd worn then casually and exercising, I hadn't used them tramping.
I had very soft skin and a both feet need taping and wool in the toe area. Summer particularly is black toe nails and blisters. I don't blister between my toes amd doubted creepers would make any difference.
Boy was I wrong. I've tried all the big expensive brands over the years and they made no difference.
Over summer I've thrashed my creepers. Multi day trips, day trips, formed tracks, route finding, bush bashing, alpine, subalpine, wet feet, dry feet, stinking hot Canterbury and Otago days.... bush, scree (up amd down), river beds, rocks, sand, pasture, tussocks, and in off-road or running shoes, and 2 pairs of different tramping boots (nubuk and synthetic).
I still tape my big toe joint and the balls of my feet. I use much less of each. My feet are significantly cooler and that's amazing.
My one criticism is that they wear faster than my traditional socks. They've gone kind of shiny and thin underneath. My feet are looking more than 90% better than they usually would at this stage of summer/autumn.
I note too that the new run of socks due out soon is a different mix that sounds more durable.
I honestly can't believe how good these socks are. I've worn the ankle socks with boots. They're fine and I have no bare skin rubbing on boots.
Just done the 51km of the “Gone Nuts 101” 2024 N-W Tasmania adventure trail run: Creepers were great all the way! Certainly no sock adjustment/ changes needed at the 25km aid drop😁. There were other Creepers on trail… I’m just not sure white was their best trail choice 🤣
So great not to be focussed on gear niggles in such challenges - Creepers really deliver that easy comfort.
I was previously an Injinji fan, but these are now my go-to! So soft and comfy, and have held up well. Now I just need Creepers to make a no-show version and a crew with a slightly wider cuff. My chubby ankles and calves would like a little more breathing room. :) Otherwise, they're the perfect socks!! I would also love a thick, heavyweight version for staying extra warm in winter!
